The Life Awakening Home…a safe harbor! Life Awakening believes that just as God has a will for you, so does the enemy. II Timothy 2:26 teaches that dreadful truth. The enemy carried out his will for you by designing, creating and setting baited traps just for you. Your stay at Life Awakening will help you understand and come to grips with those baited traps. You will also come to understand how pain from those baited traps and sin (junk) stand between you and God, your Creator Father, Who loves you no matter what you have done or what you struggle with now or do. Our staff will merely help to get you into a place where, through the presence of the Holy Spirit, junk will be removed, awakening you to a relationship with your Creator Father, giving your life new meaning and direction.
You may become overwhelmed when you read this information, but know that we will walk with you through the pain of memories, your fears, your bitterness, your depression, your anger, and more. You will not be alone. We will teach you many new things, including new thinking patterns, attitudes, habits and maybe some life skills if you need them. We want to help you understand and discover the you that God created so you can start to dream dreams and learn how to bring each dream into reality, moving you into your destiny. For some, it may be wise and/or necessary to put a relationship with a boyfriend on hold so one can whole-heartedly pursue their healing, pouring the needed energy into their journey and trusting God that if their relationship is truly of Him, it will weather time.
The staff of Life Awakening is seriously committed to ministering to you according to your specific and personal needs in a strictly confidential manner. It will be within a life-giving structure, not a rigid schedule, which you will receive healing and learn to walk in freedom. A daily plan will be designed for you and you will progress at your own pace. In other words, it will be individualized, just for you. You will stay for whatever length of time you need to stay, maybe one month, maybe twelve months.
Your plan will address some or all of the following, depending on your needs:
The above issues will be addressed through some or all of the following: Bible studies, support groups, classes, one-on-one prayer ministry, team prayer ministry, group and individual praise and worship times, journaling, daily quiet time, personal reading, social times, family visitation, physical exercise and more!
When nearing time for you to leave, a home plan will be written for you because we want to continue to support you when you leave. Each plan will be based on your unique needs and specific circumstances.
Life Awakening will offer the safe and peaceful environment needed for healing, but you will have to offer the open heart to travel the journey. We suggest that you think and wrestle through the following questions, from your heart (your true desires and opinions). May we suggest that you talk with someone about these questions and your answers.
1. What do I think healing is? What would healing look like in my life? 2. Do I really want healing and the changes that will or may occur in my life as a result of healing? Or do I want to continue with my present lifestyle, with its habits and patterns since it is comfortable and familiar? 3. Am I willing to do whatever is necessary and make whatever changes are necessary for my healing, i.e., going to my pain, turning from my sin or wrong/unhealthy relationships? 4. Am I willing to be 100% honest or learn how to be 100% honest? 5. Am I willing to learn how to trust? 6. Do I want to learn about the God of this universe and be in relationship with Him, His Son, His Spirit and His Word, believing that He is my source of healing?
Like any other home, Life Awakening wants to have order and peace. There are some Guidelines and Boundaries to follow. Because this will be an individualized ministry, there may be additional and/or different rules for some women. They may vary from woman to woman, depending upon her situation and person.
Life Awakening’s home is not for everyone. Certain Eligibility Requirements have been developed. Please read them to determine if you are eligible.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- You must be at least 18 years of age. - You must be a legal citizen or resident of the United States. - You cannot have pending criminal charges. - You have not been convicted of a violent or sexual offense. - You must be free from any and all family responsibilities so you can focus on yourself. - You want to learn how to become a healthy, whole woman from your heart, not your head. - You are coming because you want to come, not because someone else is making you come. - Although everyone’s time and type of stay will vary, you need to be willing to stay for at least six months or longer if determined to be needed by staff. This especially applies for women with addiction issues. - You are willing to live in a community with other women
Life Awakening does not charge money for its ministry. However, if possible, financial contributions would be accepted and appreciated from either you, your family and/or any friends who can contribute. A tax deductible receipt will be given.

If you do not have the Application Packet, contact Life Awakening by letter, e-mail or phone (no collect calls accepted). We will mail you an Application Packet. You may also print out the Application Packet here. The Application Packet must be completed and mailed back to Life Awakening in the U.S. mail at the address below. Once your Application Packet is received, it will be reviewed and prayed over by our Admissions Team. All information shared in your Application Packet will be held in strictest confidence.
Jesus said, “…you are unwilling to come to Me that you may have life” (John 5:40). He said this to a group of people who did not recognize Him as God’s Son, the Healer. We hope that this statement will never be said of you! But, if you are serious about traveling your healing journey to become awakened to a new life, the Admissions Team of Life Awakening anxiously waits to hear from you!
