3:16; II Corinthians 3:3; 3:17; Galatians 4:6), the Comforter (John 14:16, 26), the Guide (John 16:13); the divine agency of regeneration (John 16:8-11),the Revealer of Christ and His work on the cross (I Corinthians 2:12-15; 6:11), and the Distributor of gifts and graces upon the Church. (I Corinthians 12:4-11)

Mankind – The Fall - We believe mankind is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God (Genesis 1:26,27), but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin was passed down to all of mankind.  (Romans 3:23; 3:10; 5:12)

Mankind – The Redemption - We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the work of the devil (I John 3:8), and He gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore mankind back to God. (Colossians 1:13,14,20,-22)

    - We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith in Jesus, the sinless Son of God. (Ephesians 2:8,9; II Timothy 3:15; Philippians 3:9; Hebrews 5:9)  Salvation is separate from works and the law.

Sanctification - We believe that sanctification is a definite, yet progressive work of grace, starting at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ’s return.   (I Thessalonians 5:23; II Thessalonians 2:13; II Timothy 2:11; Hebrews 2:11)

Healing - We believe in the healing ministry of the Holy Spirit through the crosswork of Jesus Christ and that everyone is in need of healing due to our sin-filled world. (Isaiah 53)

    - We believe that divine healing is available today through the gifts of the Spirit, whether by the laying on of hands (Hebrews 6:1,2), the anointing with oil (James 5:13-16), or by simple faith alone (Hebrews 4:2).  Physical healing and deliverance from pain are privileges of humanity.

    - We believe that Jesus, through His Spirit, still proclaims good news to the afflicted, still heals the brokenhearted, still releases captives, still gives sight to the blind, and still frees the downtrodden. (Isaiah 61:1-3)

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

Word of God We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, that it was given under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it gives complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of mankind.  We hold the Bible to be the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.  It is our source of revelation of God, the knowledge of salvation, the origin of all things and of the hereafter.  (II Timothy 3:16,17; II Peter 1:20,21; Hebrews 4:12)

The Godhead Our God is one God but is manifested in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, with all being infinitely perfect, eternal in existence and equal in glory, majesty and power.  (Philippians 2:6)

     - We believe the Son is the Lord Jesus Christ, the only and all sufficient Savior. We believe Him to be God manifest in the flesh as the very Son of God (John 1:1), fully God and fully man (Philippians 2:5-7), Creator of all things with the Father (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16), and appointed Judge of all men (Acts 17:31).

     - We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38; 2:1-7), His vicarious death on behalf of lost humanity (Matthew 26:47--27:56; Mark 14:43–15:41; Luke 22:54–23:49; John 18:1–19:30), His appointed burial (Matthew 27:57-66; Mark 15:42-47; Luke 23:50-56; John 19:31-42), His bodily resurrection (Matthew 28:1-15; Mark 16:1-13; Luke 24:1-49; John 20:1-31; Romans 8:11), His ascension on high (Mark 16:19; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:9-11), His present High-Priestly ministry in the heavenlies (Hebrews 4:14), and His physical return to the earth to receive the righteous both living and dead (I Thessalonians 4:16,17), and to execute judgment upon the world (Acts 17:31; II Thessalonians 1:7-10).

    - We acknowledge the blessed Holy Spirit as the Spirit who proceeded both from the Father and Son (Romans 8:11; I Corinthians
